Intro to iServe
iServe – the Integrated Shared Services for Excellence.
The Charity Council, in partnership with MCYS, MOH, NCSS and SSC, initiated iServe, a shared services programme specially tailored for the Charities, the Institutions of a Public Character (IPCs), and the National Sports Associations (NSAs) [hereafter collectively referred to as Organisations]. iServe provides the Organisations with a comprehensive suite of professional functions and for a start, the programme will focus on finance and accounting services. The objective of the programme is to relieve the Organisations of common administrative processes, to allow them to focus more on delivering their core functions and strategic missions.
ST Electronics (e-Services) Pte Ltd (STEE-eServ) has been appointed the Shared Services Provider to deliver iServe to all the Organisations.
The Finance and Accounting Shared Services will include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Financial and Management Reports and Audit Management. (Please refer to the Scope of Services below for more details.)
To assist the Organisations to embark on the iServe programme, MCYS has worked out an attractive subsidy scheme via the VWOs-Charities Capability Fund (VCF) over a 3-year period from 1 Oct 2009 – 30 Sep 2012.
Our Aim
Our aim is to provide a one stop services centre that supports all the Charities/IPCs/NSAs in achieving excellence in their organizations’ mission. Through iServe, Charities / IPCs can now focus on serving their beneficiaries effectively and yet enjoying cost saving through economies of scale to achieving operational efficiency in today’s challenging environment.
With our expertise and standardized streamlined processes, our clients need not have to worry about developing and retaining the know-how anymore yet enjoying better internal controls from the developed governance capabilities in accordance with the Recommended Accounting Practices.
